First Freebie!
Here is a fun activity that I like to do during the week leading up to spring break. It is an activity that the kids love to do that practices words with long vowels and consonant blends. I close these reading strips into each egg. I put a small prize in each egg. I hid the eggs around the room and the class gets to find them. When we read our way around all of the eggs, the kids get to open up their eggs and get their fun surprise.
If you would like to download the file for this activity, visit my TPT store and download it for FREE!

I love your egg idea! I do lots of "searches" around the room. This week my students looked for dog tags with their spelling words hidden around the room and recorded them on a recording sheet with Clifford. Next week...You guessed it, eggs!

A MAN! What I mean is, A MAN who teaches and is a BLOGGER! How cool is that?! Well, welcome to the blogging world. Although I have been blogging for almost a year, I haven't really "worked" at building followers. I'd love to have more followers, but I know it's a "science" and I just haven't been able to devote the time. THIS SUMMER. But I would love it if you would visit my blog and maybe give me a shoutout, and I'm going to do the same for you. A male, teacher blogger...A PRIMARY male teacher blogger....who would've thunk? :-)
ReplyDeleteP.S. Thanks for the freebie!

Teaching With Love and Laughter
So glad to have found your blog! I used your "I have/Who has" game with my class on Friday and they loved it! Thanks for sharing. It was creative to think of putting it in a egg and having the kids find it. I posted about using it to if you want to check it out.
